Following the success of the PIPELINE BOX, Arcana Mods and PIPELINE present their second battery carrier: the ARCANA SBS, here in a particularly refined version – the ARCANA SBS DLC DNA60C.
Unlike the PIPELINE BOX, as well as the Arcana 22 RTA and Chariot RTA, the DLC coating of the ARCANA SBS DLC DNA60C is not matte, but brushed, creating a distinctly different and especially elegant look.
DLC (“Diamond-Like Carbon”) is a very high-quality, carbon-based coating. The coating is highly durable and scratch-resistant.
The body of the ARCANA SBS DLC is made of anodized aluminum and is therefore particularly resistant to scratches and perspiration. The buttons are made of 304 stainless steel, while the front, top, and bottom plates, as well as the battery sleeve, are made of high-quality, DLC-coated 304 stainless steel. The ARCANA SBS DLC features a highly spring-loaded copper-beryllium positive contact to ensure optimal conductivity.

The ARCANA SBS DLC DNA60C was designed to be compact, expandable, and compatible with various battery sizes.
In addition to the standard version, which offers an affordable entry into the high-end market with the ARC1 chipset, we are introducing the ARCANA SBS DLC DNA60C, a version for all enthusiasts.
The integrated DNA60C chipset from Evolv is renowned worldwide for its high precision, efficiency, and reliability. Out of the box, our extensively customized firmware offers eight application profiles – including a dedicated boost mode and six specialized temperature profiles for the most common wire types. Furthermore, we’ve integrated the discharge curve of the popular 18650 “Murata VTC5A” battery into the battery management system to ensure the most realistic charge level indicator possible.
To maximize flexibility, the Arcana Mods team has also included a USB-C port in the ARCANA SBS DLC DNA60C, enabling the use of “EScribe.” This software, provided by Evolv, offers extensive features, such as creating custom wire types, temperature profiles, and display interfaces, as well as setting the discharge cutoff voltage and much more.
The standard 18650 battery sleeve is also available in other sizes, allowing the use of 18500 batteries.
The battery can be charged either with a charger or directly via the integrated USB-C port at a maximum current of 1.2A.
We recommend charging the batteries with an external charger. A subtle red LED illuminates next to the USB-C port when the battery is charging.
The standard 18650 battery sleeve is also available in other sizes, allowing the use of 18500 batteries.
While we are confident in the longevity of the ARCANA SBS DLC DNA60C, we want to emphasize our commitment to sustainability and customer satisfaction by offering our in-house repair service in Munich even after the standard one-year manufacturer’s warranty has expired!
The ARCANA SBS comes with two rubber rings to help remove the atomizer if it becomes stuck.
For atomizers with a 23 mm diameter, one rubber ring is usually sufficient. For 22 mm atomizers, we recommend using both rings together for a secure grip.
When slipping the rubber rings on, they will need to be stretched slightly to fit snugly around the atomizer. This is normal and improves the grip when unscrewing. Slide the rubber ring over the atomizer as far down the atomizer base as possible. Then, gently stretch the ring (or rings), grip it with your thumb and forefinger, and carefully unscrew the atomizer.
The rubberized surface significantly improves adhesion without scratching the atomizer.
The ARCANA SBS also includes a screen protector that protects both the display and the stainless steel base plate.
We recommend using the screen protector even when using a sleeve, as it ensures a tighter fit and provides additional scratch protection.
Before applying the screen protector, thoroughly clean the stainless steel base plate with isopropyl alcohol to remove any grease and dust residue.
Then carefully and precisely position the screen protector – the screw recesses on the base plate are particularly useful for alignment.
When replacing the screen protector, please completely remove any adhesive residue with isopropyl alcohol before applying a new one.
The screen protectors are also optionally available as a pack of 5.

Which ARCANA SBS is right for me?
If you primarily vape in Variable Wattage (VW) mode, we recommend the ARCANA SBS. If you prefer Temperature Control (TC) mode, use different wire types, and want a color display and more advanced settings, we recommend the ARCANA SBS DNA60C.
