Flavors vs Flavorshots

E-cigarette users often complain about the cost of refill liquids or eLiquids. The way to drastically reduce their cost is to create them yourself, which is more than easy. There may be many e-cigarettes on the market but liquids, whether store-bought or homemade, can be used in all of them. So let’s make our own e-liquid.

Materials
Nicotine booster – It comes at 10ml bottles, at 20mg/ml

PG or VG, which are known as Propylene Glycol or Vegetable Glycerin respectively.
Nicotine and flavourings have high concentration percentages and need to be diluted on PG or VG or on PG – VG mix.

Most liquids come with a mix of PG – VG. The most common ratios are 70/30, 50/50 or 30/70. There will always be both substances in the liquids, because pure PG may irritate the throat and VG is thick enough to prevent the absorption of the e-liquid via cotton.

Flavours
Flavour liquids are what will complete your recipe. There is a huge variety of flavor liquids on the market. They start from the usual ones like fruit and can go up to the more eccentric ones like energy drink, bubble gum and cookie. Testing is the only way to figure out which one is right for you. The ratio of flavour liquid to your liquid can be anywhere from 5 or 10%, always depending on your taste.

Execution
The process of creating the liquid is relatively simple. Just add all your ingredients into a bottle using another numbered bottle.
Start with your base, which is the PG and VG mixture, then add the nicotine and finally the flavor. Then close the cap and shake well.

The procedure is the same as the one when you make your flavorshot. The only difference is that you put the flavor too inside the bottle 🙂
